SYNOPSIS

Operation Spiderweb represents one of the most significant asymmetric warfare victories in modern military history. Ukrainian forces used consumer drones costing approximately $400 each to destroy Russian nuclear capable bombers worth tens of millions of dollars. Real-life volunteer soldier and drone operator "BigMac" imagines how thought this bold military operation went down.

A wild, impossible documentary with a small budget and little time

We created a $2 million dollar film that would have taken two years, and made it for a fraction of that in a fraction of the time. The Decisive Moment is a new kind of episodic series, reimagining urgent global events as cinematic shorts. The first episode dramatizes Ukraine’s Operation Spiderweb, a daring drone strike on Russian bombers.

We made it four weeks from concept to visuals, music, edit and publicity, all in-house, based around a real-life soldier fighting in Ukraine.
